高压隔膜板框压滤机通过物理挤压实现污泥脱水。通过板框给污泥施加压力，含水污泥受力使得水分得以分离出来，达到降低污泥含水率的目的。挤压工艺可选用隔膜二次挤压或空气吹扫滤饼内及管道中剩余水份，优点是脱水后泥饼含水率较低、卫生条件较好，脱水率高，卸料立体布置，占地少。部分污泥可不用二次投加调理药剂，直接脱水，减少运营成本。
